Neatafan Ltd is an established British Manufacturer of innovative ventilation and air conditioning products.
Our objective is to provide quality, long lasting and simple to install products to our commercial and industrial customers.
Established in 1983
Since the beginning, Neatafan have been dedicated to improving out-of-date methods for ventilation products within the industry. It is hoped that by challenging the status quo we are influencing the future of our market to improve products and systems for all. An example of this is with our heater controls.
We found that our customers needed suitable controls and a simplified method of installation, this led to the designing of our own Thyristor Controls based on the specific needs of the HVAC industry.
Our integrated controls with airflow detection ensured our heaters were easy to install and provided an advanced level of accuracy and energy efficiency – holding the temperature to within 1ºc.
Some customers prefer to buy a ‘package’, therefore we can build control panels and supply them complete with our own thyristor unit, temperature controller, small air handling unit and electric heater.
Neatafan also manufacture Gas Interlocking Systems designed specifically for commercial kitchen safety. Our ALS3 senses the fan current and interlocks the ventilation and gas supply to kitchen appliances. This ensures a safe working environment and helps to achieve compliance with BS6173:2009 and other standards, including HVCA DW/172, GSIUR:1998 and Gas Safe TB140.
The demand for more energy efficiency has led Neatafan to design systems which can recover most of the heat from the exhaust air stream, return it to the fresh air stream and provide summer cooling. Our Heat Recovery Air Handling Unit has a EC fan motor fitted; these impressive fans have speed control built-in, deliver minimal energy usage and last up three times longer than conventional AC fan motors.
Bespoke Electric Air Heaters
Neatafan’s bespoke Electric Air Heaters are available in circular or rectangular sizes to suit standard ductwork. They can be specially designed to suit the customer’s available space, product range and specific needs for various industries and environments. Other products that we can offer are Demand Control Ventilation (DCV) and Constant Pressure Control.
Neatafan’s reputation has always been one of quality, consistency and efficiency. Please contact us to discuss your specific needs.

Meet The Team
Neatafan Ltd are focused on our customers’ needs. To help put names to faces we are pleased to introduce the team….
Before creating Neatafan Ltd in 1983, Phil started his career as an apprentice at Mullards. Once qualified he became a Heat Exchanger Designer, moving into Air Conditioning Design in the 1970’s.
During this time, Phil felt that the air-conditioning and ventilation needs within the industry could be better supplied. With a passion for engineering and finding solutions to problems, he started his own manufacturing company and it grew from there.
Neatafan Ltd is now a family business and actively trains, employs and supports people from the local community.
In his spare time, motorbikes and racing have always interested Phil, he used to race his own bikes before moving onto sponsoring other riders and creating his own Racing Team, Neatafan-Tigcraft.
Currently, Phil is sponsoring Tom Carne, a MotoStar Rider who is participating in the HEL Performance MotoStar British Championship which runs alongside the British Superbike Championship.

Neatafan sponsor the Supermono Championship for 2017
For 2017, Neatafan are also sponsoring the Supermono Championship that is run by the NG Road Racing Club (formerly North Gloucestershire Motor Cycle Club). Back in the good old days, Phil used to be a member of the club and competed himself.
The NG Road Racing Club has been synonymous with the sport of motor cycle road racing since it’s inception by a group of enthusiasts back in I970. Since then, the Club have gone from strength to strength and has grown into one of the countries largest Clubs with over 600 competing members, running a quality Championship Series at the country’s top permanent circuits. The Clubs high standing in the sport is reflected by the huge annual prize fund for the Champions and Award Winners thanks to the generosity of its many Sponsors.
NG Road Racing has a reputation for helping bring young riders through, probably because the Club is still directed by a hard core of enthusiasts, who want to see the sport of motor cycle road racing continue to flourish in the UK.
